The Wobbler classroom is catered to our littles to learn and grow at their own pace. We have designed the space for them to have access to beginner light cooking, cleaning up, and other practical life skills at an early age. They will be able to transition to the next classroom at their own pace once they display certain skills that prepare them for the Toddler classroom.
We begin to introduce our older toddlers and 2s into a combined classroom. This stage incorporates activities with our older 3s-6s so they become familiar and comfortable with transitioning into our mixed age classroom when they are ready. They have access to more advanced materials and activities and begin using our Erdkinder space.
Our mixed age classrooms of ages 3-6 create an environment where older students become the role models. They learn to help the younger students with different tasks as well as learning patience, tolerance, and empathy.
Mixed age groups implement a sense of community and familiarity where they are able to connect with their peers and teachers for a longer period of time.
We offer school age programs for mixed group ages 6-9 and 9-12. These programs are directed towards our homeschooling community in addition to after school programs. These programs offer activities and field trips to keep our students active and involved in their community.
Erdkinder is our outdoor nature space and classroom which is German for "child of the Earth".
This space invites our students to create and utilize the depths of their imagination. We do not offer a manufactured playground in order to promote more exercise and imaginative play. Instead, we offer a learning garden, a chicken coop, mud kitchen, a sensory garden, natural playground features, 1/12 of a mile sidewalk track, and endless space to run and explore.
Summer is our favorite season where we invite children ages 4-12 for a summer of non-stop opportunities to discover, create, and socialize! We offer enrichment-based activities as well as specialty camp opportunities for children to have a variety of choices based on their own personal interests.
We continue care and activities for our students under age 4 throughout the summer.
Field trips are offered for ages 5-12.
"The secret of good teaching is to regard the child's intelligence as a fertile field in which seeds may be sown, to grow under the heat of flaming imagination."
